SEBI's utility crews are well versed in the construction standards used and procedures required by the communities in our area. Their extensive knowledge also encompasses many other fields, for example, the fact that the expansive soils in Northern Colorado require stabilization to ensure a quality final product. Additionally, these crews are extremely savvy at analyzing situations and making good decisions that benefit our customers and our company.
Most inspectors know our people and know that they will perform their work well. That respect comes from years of consistently doing every job right.
Experienced Leaders guide our dirt work crews and the efficiency of their operations is telling. It's a team effort at SEBI to build projects on time and on budget. The scrapers and blades are supported by compaction equipment, water wagons and the skilled crews it takes to run them. Nothing is lost when the bid is transferred from our estimators to our earthwork team. They have a full understanding of the scope of the job and what is needed to complete it.
Our company takes pride in the quality of its work. We have earned the respect of customers up and down the Front Range. For example, our dry utility division was started at a customer's insistence. Our excellent and trustworthy reputation led them to choose us to install their conduits. SEBI goes above and beyond the norm to bring a finished quality product that is of the finest craftsmanship.
With the abundance of underground utilities, potholing has become the newest form of damage prevention. SEBI's potholing crews now have the Vac-Tron, a powerful, mobile vacuum system, to assist them in their locates.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) has been on the scene and used by the U.S. military for many years. Today the GPS is used by the auto industry, NASA, transatlantic shippers and many more. At SEBI, GPS is used to check quantities, relocate stakes and guide operators more accurately during grading processes.
